At Cosmetix Design we offer over 10 years of experience in brand innovation, product development, custom formulations and high-quality raw materials.
Our belief is in creating personal care product lines that fit the customers business strategy. We believe in rigorous stability and micro-challenge testing so that each formulation is of the highest quality.
We develop single items as well as full lines for both small and large accounts. We customize our service to your needs, whether it be basic product concepts and ingredients to manufacturing and education. Our goal is not to just inspire but to achieve the highest standard of service on a budget you can afford.
Product Development & Formulation
In 2005, she joined Schwarzkopf & Henkel, where she had the opportunity to work with all the cross-functional departments, such as marketing, packaging, regulatory and purchasing, while creating hair care products from start to finish.
In 2006, she joined The Hain-Celestial Group in order to explore the natural marketing segment of the personal care industry. She developed new products, reformulated existing products and reverse engineered existing products. In 2006, she was awarded as the Employee of the Year by The Hain-Celestial Groups Personal Care Division.
With the vision of helping multiple companies create personal care products, she founded Cosmetix Design in 2008. Currently, she helps clients create products from start to finish, including key ingredient selection, formulation, testing and manufacturing support.
Gamze Sauzeat is an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists California Chapter.
Cosmetix Design has been founded by cosmetic chemist Gamze Sauzeat to help clients create innovative, high quality and cost effective personal care products based on the latest innovations of the cosmetic industry.
Gamze Sauzeat holds a B.S. Degree in Chemistry from the Technical University of Istanbul, Turkey. Following her studies in chemistry, Gamze Sauzeat completed a Professional Certificate Program in Marketing at the University of California, San Diego.
In 2001, she started working as a cosmetic chemist at Raffaello Research Laboratories, where she had the opportunity to formulate products for multiple prestigious brands, including Doctor’s brands and professional SPA brands. During her four years at Raffaello Research Laboratories, she also supervised production batches at various contract manufacturing plants.
